”நேர்மையை விதையுங்கள்.”

ஒரு மிகப்பெரிய கம்பெனியின் முதலாளி தனக்கு வயதாகி விட்டதால் அவர் கம்பெனியின் பொறுப்பை அவரிடம் வேலை செய்யும் ஒரு திறமையானவரிடம் ஒப்படைக்க முடிவு செய்தார்.எல்லாரும் தன் ரூமுக்கு வருமாறு கட்டளை இட்டார்.

உங்களில் ஒருவர் தான் என் கம்பெனியின் பொறுப்பை ஏற்க வேண்டும் ,அதனால் உங்களுக்கு ஒரு போட்டி வைக்க போகிறேன். யார் ஜெயிக்கிறார்களோ அவர் தான் அடுத்த மேனேஜர் என்றார்.

என் கையில் ஏராளமான விதைகள் இருக்கின்றன இதை ஆளுக்கு ஒன்று கொடுப்பேன்.இதை நீங்கள் உங்கள் வீட்டில் ஒரு தொட்டியில் நட்டு, உரம் இட்டு தண்ணீர் ஊற்றி நன்றாக வளர்த்து அடுத்த வருடம் என்னிடம் காட்ட வேண்டும்.யார் செடி நன்றாக வளர்ந்து இருக்கிறதோ அவரே என் கம்பெனியின் பொறுப்பை ஏற்க வேண்டும் என்றார்.

அனைவரும் ஆளுக்கு ஒரு விதை வாங்கி சென்றனர்.அந்த கம்பெனியில் வேலை செய்யும் வாசு வும் ஒரு விதை வாங்கி சென்றான்.தன் மனைவியிடம் முதலாளி சொன்ன அனைத்தையும் சொன்னான்.அவன் மனைவி தொட்டியும் உரம் தண்ணீர் எல்லாம் அவனுக்கு கொடுத்து அந்த விதையை நடுவதற்க்கு உதவி செய்தாள்.

ஒரு வாரம் கழிந்தது ஆபிஸில் இருக்கும் அனைவரும் தங்கள் தொட்டியில் செடி வளர ஆரம்பித்து விட்டது என்று பேசிக்கொள்ள ஆரம்பித்தனர்.ஆனால் வாசுவின் தொட்டியில் செடி இன்னும் வளரவே ஆரம்பிக்கவில்லை.

ஒரு மாதம் ஆனது செடி வளரவில்லை, நாட்கள் உருண்டோடின ஆறு மாதங்கள் ஆனது அப்பொழுதும் அவன் தொட்டியில் செடி வளரவே இல்லை.நான் விதையை வீணாக்கிவிட்டேனா என்று புலம்பினான் ஆனால் தினந்தோறும் செடிக்கு தண்ணீர் ஊற்றுவதை நிறுத்தவில்லை.தன் தொட்டியில் செடி வளரவில்லை என்று ஆபிஸில் யாரிடமும் சொல்லவில்லை.

ஒரு வருடம் முடிந்து விட்டது எல்லாரும் தொட்டிகளை முதலாளியிடம் காட்டுவதற்காக எடுத்து வந்தார்கள்.வாசு தன் மனைவியிடம் காலி தொட்டியை நான் எடுத்து போகமாட்டேன் என்று சொன்னான்.அவன் மனைவி அவனை சமாதானப்படுத்தி நீங்கள் ஒரு வருடம் முழுக்க உங்கள் முதலாளி சொன்ன மாதிரி செய்தீர்கள்.செடி வளராததற்கு நீங்கள் வருந்த வேண்டியதில்லை .நேர்மையாக நடந்து கொள்ளுங்கள் தொட்டியை எடுத்து சென்று முதலாளியிடம் காட்டுங்கள் என்றாள்.

வாசுவும் காலி தொட்டியை ஆபிஸுக்கு எடுத்து சென்றான்.எல்லார் தொட்டியையும் பார்த்தான் விதவிதமான செடிகள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் ஒவ்வொரு உயரத்தில் இருந்தன.இவன் தொட்டியை பார்த்த அனைவரும் சிரிக்க ஆரம்பித்தனர்.

முதலாளி எல்லாரையும் தன்னுடைய அறைக்கு வருமாறு சொன்னார்.வாவ் எல்லாரும் அருமையாக செடியை வளர்த்து உள்ளீர்கள் உங்களில் ஒருவர் தான் இன்று பொறுப்பு ஏத்துகொள்ளபோகறீர்கள் என்றார்.எல்லாருடைய செடியையும் பார்வை இட்டார்.வாசு கடைசி வரிசையில் நின்றிருந்தான் அவனை அருகே வருமாறு அழைத்தார்.

வாசு தன்னை வேலையை விட்டு நீக்கத்தான் கூப்பிடுகிறார் என்று பயந்து கொண்டே சென்றான்.முதலாளி வாசுவிடம் உன் செடி எங்கே என்று கேட்டார்.ஒரு வருடமாக அந்த விதையை நட்டு உரமிட்டு தண்ணீர் விட்டதை விலாவாரியாக சொன்னான்.

முதலாளி வாசுவை தவிர அனைவரும் உட்காருங்கள் என்றார்.பிறகு வாசு தோளில் கையை போட்டுகொண்டு நமது கம்பெனியின் நிர்வாகத்தை ஏற்று நடத்தப் போகிறவர் இவர்தான் என்றார்.வாசுவுக்கு ஒரே அதிர்ச்சி தன் தொட்டியில் செடி வளரவே இல்லை பிறகு ஏன் நமக்கு இந்த பொறுப்பை கொடுக்கிறார் என்று குழம்பிபோனார்.

சென்ற வருடம் நான் உங்கள் ஆளுக்கு ஒரு விதை கொடுத்து வளர்க்க சொன்னேன் அல்லவா அது அனைத்தும் அவிக்கப்பட்ட விதைகள்[Boiled seeds]. அந்த விதைகள் அவிக்கப்பட்டதால் அது முளைக்க இயலாது. நீங்கள் அனைவரும் நான் கொடுத்த விதை முளைக்காததால் அதற்கு பதில் வேறு ஒரு விதையை நட்டு வளர்த்து கொண்டு வந்தீர்கள்.வாசு மட்டுமே நேர்மையாக நடந்து கொண்டான்,ஆகவே அவனே என் கம்பெனியை நிர்வாகிக்க தகுதியானவன் என்றார்.

The Fisherman and the Businessman

The Fisherman and the Businessman - a classic Brazilian story...

There was once a businessman who was sitting by the beach in a small Brazilian village. As he sat, he saw a Brazilian fisherman rowing a small boat towards the shore having caught quite a few big fish.
The businessman was impressed and asked the fisherman, “How long does it take you to catch so many fish?” The fisherman replied, “Oh, just a short while.”
“Then why don’t you stay longer at sea and catch even more?” The businessman was astonished.
“This is enough to feed my whole family,” the fisherman said.
The businessman then asked, “So, what do you do for the rest of the day?”
The fisherman replied, “Well, I usually wake up early in the morning, go out to sea and catch a few fish, then go back and play with my kids. In the afternoon, I take a nap with my wife, and evening comes, I join my buddies in the village for a drink — we play guitar, sing and dance throughout the night.”

The businessman offered a suggestion to the fisherman. “I am a PhD in business management. I could help you to become a more successful person. From now on, you should spend more time at sea and try to catch as many fish as possible. When you have saved enough money, you could buy a bigger boat and catch even more fish. Soon you will be able to afford to buy more boats, set up your own company, your own production plant for canned food and distribution network. By then, you will have moved out of this village and to Sao Paulo, where you can set up HQ to manage your other branches.”

The fisherman continues, “And after that?”
The businessman laughs heartily, “After that, you can live like a king in your own house, and when the time is right, you can go public and float your shares in the Stock Exchange, and you will be rich.”
The fisherman asks, “And after that?”
The businessman says, “After that, you can finally retire, you can move to a house by the fishing village, wake up early in the morning, catch a few fish, then return home to play with kids, have a nice afternoon nap with your wife, and when evening comes, you can join your buddies for a drink, play the guitar, sing and dance throughout the night!”
The fisherman was puzzled, “Isn’t that what I am doing now?”

Planning is important

Why Planning is important....?

One Night 4 college students were playing...
till late night...
and could not study for the test....
which was scheduled for the next day...

In the morning they thought of a plan.....
They made themselves look
as dirty with grease and dirt....
They then went up to the Dean and said that they had gone out...
to a wedding last night and on their return....
the tire of their car burst and....
they had to push the car all the way back and that they were in no condition to appear for the test.....

So the Dean said....
they could have the re-test after 3 days.....
They thanked him and said they would be ready by that time.....

On the third day....
they appeared before the Dean.....
The Dean said that as this was a Special Condition Test....
all four were required to sit in separate classrooms for the test....
They all agreed as they had prepared well in the last 3 days....

The Test consisted of 2 questions with a total of 100 Marks......

Tears of joy

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry.

He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house.
However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.

She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large
glass of milk He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?""You don't owe me anything," she replied "Mother has taught us never to accept payment for a kindness."

He said... "Then I thank you from my heart."
As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt; stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit. Years later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation.
When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her.

He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation
room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.

He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally, she looked, and something caught her attention on the side as she read these
words......

கார்கில் போரின் போது இரண்டு நண்பர்கள் களத்தில் இருந்தனர்.எதிரிகள் சுற்றி வளைத்து சுடும்போது ஒருவன் மட்டும் குண்டடி பட்டு விழுந்து கிடந்தான்.

நான் என் நண்பனை எப்படியாவது தூக்கி வந்து விடுகிறேன் எனக்கு உத்தரவு கொடுங்கள் கமேண்டர் என்றான்.மறைந்து இருந்து தாக்குவது தான் சரியான வழி ,நீ அங்கு போவதால் உன் உயிர்க்கு தான் ஆபத்து என்றார் கமேண்டர்.

நீ போவது என்றால் போ, ஆனால் நீ போவதால் எதுவும் நடந்துவிட போவதில்லை என்று கமெண்டர் சொன்னார்.அதையும் மீறி தன் நண்பனை காப்பாற்ற ஓடினான், அவனை தோளில் தூக்கி கொண்டு வரும்போது எதிரிகள் சுட்டனர். இவனுக்கும் அடிப்பட்டது, அதையும் மீறி அவனை தூக்கி கொண்டு வந்தான்.

கமேண்டர் அவனை பரிசோதித்து பார்த்தார் அவன் நண்பன் இறந்து போய் இருந்தான்.நான் அப்போழுதே சொன்னேன் நீ அவனை காப்பாற்றப்போவதால் எந்த உபயோகமும் இல்லை ,இப்போது பார் நீயும் அடிப்பட்டு கிடக்கிறாய் என்றார் கமேண்டர்.

நான் போனது தான் சார் சரி என்றான்.என்ன சொல்கிறாய் உன் நண்பன் இறந்து கிடந்தான் நீ சொல்வது எப்படி சரியாகும் என்று கேட்டார் கமேண்டர்.

நான் அங்கு போகும்போது என் நண்பன் உயிருடன் தான் சார் இருந்தான்.”என்னை காப்பாற்ற நீ வருவாய் என்று எனக்கு தெரியும் நண்பா” என்று சொல்லிவிட்டு தான் சார் இறந்தான் .அந்த ஒரு வார்த்தை எனக்கு போதும் சார் இந்த காயம் எல்லாம் எனக்கு ஒரு பொருட்டே இல்லை என்றான்.

நண்பனை காப்பாற்ற முடியாவிட்டலும் நட்பை காப்பாற்றினான்...
இது தான் உண்மையான நட்பு..

Wonderful story

A woman baked chapatti (roti) for members of her family and an extra one for a hungry passerby. She kept the extra chapatti on the window sill, for whosoever would take it away. Every day, a hunchback came and took away the chapatti. Instead of expressing gratitude, he muttered the following words as he went his way: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” This went on, day after day. Every day, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and uttered the words:
“The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” The woman felt irritated. “Not a word of gratitude,” she said to herself… “Everyday this hunchback utters this jingle! What does he mean?” One day, exasperated, she decided to do away with him. “I shall get rid of this hunchback,” she said. And what did she do? She added poison to the chapatti she prepared for him!
As she was about to keep it on the window sill, her hands trembled. “What is this I am doing?” she said. Immediately, she threw the chapatti into the fire, prepared another one and kept it on the window sill. As usual, the hunchback came, picked up the chapatti and muttered the words: “The evil you do, remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!”
The hunchback proceeded on his way, blissfully unaware of the war raging in the mind of the woman. Every day, as the woman placed the chapatti on the window sill, she offered a prayer for her son who had gone to a distant place to seek his fortune. For many months, she had no news of him.. She prayed for his safe return.
That evening, there was a knock on the door. As she opened it, she was surprised to find her son standing in the doorway. He had grown thin and lean. His garments were tattered and torn. He was hungry, starved and weak. As he saw his mother, he said, “Mom, it’s a miracle I’m here. While I was but a mile away, I was so famished that I collapsed. I would have died, but just then an old hunchback passed by. I begged of him for a morsel of food, and he was kind enough to give me a whole chapatti. As he gave it to me, he said, “This is what I eat everyday: today, I shall give it to you, for your need is greater than mine!”
” As the mother heard those words, her face turned pale. She leaned against the door for support. She remembered the poisoned chapatti that she had made that morning. Had she not burnt it in the fire, it would have been eaten by her own son, and he would have lost his life!
It was then that she realized the significance of the words: “The evil you do remains with you: The good you do, comes back to you!” Do good and Don’t ever stop doing good, even if it is not appreciated at that time. If you like this, share it with others and I bet so many lives would be touched.

“சார் ஒரு உதவி.. கொஞ்ச அங்க வந்து தள்ளி விட முடியுமா?” என்று அந்த குடிகாரர் கேட்டார்.

கணவனோ “முடியவே முடியாது ஏம்பா விடியகாலை 3 மணிக்கு தொந்தரவு செய்யறே”ன்னு சொல்லிட்டு கதவை சாத்திட்டு படுக்கப் போய் விட்டான்.

“யாரது?” என்று மனைவி கேட்டாள்.
“எவனோ ஒரு குடிகாரன், வந்து காரோ எதையோ தள்ளி விட முடியுமான்னு கேட்கிறான்”
“நீங்க உதவி செஞ்சீங்களா?”
“இல்லை, காலைல 3 மணி, மழை வேற பெய்யுது எவன் போவான்?”
“பார்த்தீங்களா?

3 மாசம் முன்னாடி நம்ம கார் ரிப்பேராகி நடு ரோட்ல நின்னப்ப இரண்டு பேர் நமக்கு உதவி செஞ்சாங்களே? இப்ப நீங்க அது மாதிரி உதவி செய்யலன்னா எப்படி? கடவுள் குடிகாரர்களையும் நேசிப்பார்”
கணவன் எந்திரிச்சான், ட்ரஸ் பண்ணிக்கிட்டு மழையில் நனைஞ்சுகிட்டே வெளியே போனான்.

இருட்டுல, மழையில் சரியா தெரியாதாதால சத்தமா கேட்டான்.

“ஹலோ, நீங்க இன்னும் இருக்கீங்களா?”

“ஆமா சார்”

“ஏதோ தள்ளி விடனும்னு சொன்னீங்களே, இப்ப செய்யலாமா?”

“ஆமா சார் வந்து கொஞ்சம் தள்ளிவிட்டீங்கன்னா நல்லா இருக்கும்”

A boy liked a girl but

jealous.
